Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Rwanda and drive to Mgahinga National Park
Meet and greet the driver guide assignment to you and immediately transfer to Mgahinga gorilla National Park crossing the Katuna border. The travel time can be 4 hours including time spent on the immigration offices at the border.
Mgahinga national park is known to home both mountain gorillas and golden monkeys, the rare primate species in the world. Arrive and head to the lodge for your dinner.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and cross back to Kigali Rwanda
Wake up and be served with your breakfast maybe a cup of tea or coffee. Later on head back to the offices of park to receive briefing tips. This exercise is very important since it protects both wildlife and you the trekker. Later on, begin the search after getting used to all the guidelines while in the forest, hiring Porters and assignment of the park guide. In the forest, there is a lot to spot including small monkeys, birds, plants and more.
Have a chance of spending an hour in the presence of the beautiful creatures capturing memories. This will be a great way to enjoy the beautiful nature while taking photos, recording videos and more.
After the experience, head back to the lodge with your trekking certificate followed by lunch and then head back to Kigali. Be dropped to any agreed point for your next program.
