Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will meet and greet your professional safari guide at the hotel or agreed pick up location in Nairobi. Get briefed about this special 3-day safari itinerary and by around 8:00am, you will be setting off to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey to Masai Mara Reserve may take you between 6 and 7 hours, and expect magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley en-route.
Arrive at Masai Mara early and you will check in your pre-booked lodge for relaxation and also enjoy a hot lunch served by professional team. Get some relaxation and later, exit the lodge for an exciting afternoon game drive with an experienced guide. Look out for Masai Mara Reserve’s diverse faunal species from small to big game species, antelopes and birds.
Return to the lodge by evening and have maximum time for you to chill at the lodge, dine and enjoy some refreshments before you retire for the night.
Day 2: A full day wildlife safari in Maasai Mara Reserve
Enjoy a hefty breakfast at the lodge/camp and after, you will be picked up by your experienced guide. Unlike the previous day, today you will have the entire day to explore Maasai Mara with a guide and in a classic 4×4 safari vehicle. Being a long day which combines the morning and afternoon game viewing, expect to go with a pack of lunch plus enough water.
Your full day game drive excursion in Masai Mara Reserve will get you exposed to diversity of wildlife species. Masai Mara Reserve boasts of its diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, birds, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes and more.
In the morning, you will be catching up with variety of early sun risers and evening, keep a close eye on some of the nocturnal species as they become active. Your day covers a picnic lunch and after the entire excursion, you will get back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Depart for Nairobi
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, check out of your accommodation. Proceed on an exciting morning game drive for you look out for the sun risers. After the brief morning game drive, continue to Nairobi capital to be dropped off at the hotel or direct to the airport where you will depart back home.
