Overview
5 days Kenya exclusive trip is a great trip that will take you to 2 national parks that is Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara national reserve. Lake Nakuru is famous for hosting flamingos and these flamingos paint the lake shore pink, you will later engage in the Masai Mara national reserve Kenya’s tourist icon. Masai Mara is famous for its endless plains and hosting the wildebeest migration which happens in June and September where millions of wildebeests migrate from Tanzania’s Serengeti national park. Masai Mara is a home to Africa’s big 5 which are; leopards, lions, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants. Other than the big 5, it is also a home to Africa’s Ugly 5 which are; hyenas, marabou storks, vultures, warthogs and wildebeests. Other wildlife to encounter while on this 5 days Kenya exclusive trip are; giraffes, elands, impalas, zebras, birds among others, you will also enjoy visiting different kopjes for animal sights and endless plains.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Nakuru
Upon arrival at the Airport, our company representative will pick you, he will brief you about Kenya’s trips and then embark on the journey to Lake Nakuru. You will drive for about 3 and half hours. You will arrive in time for lunch, connect to your lodge, check in, have lunch and do an evening game drive. You will encounter some wildlife, birds, enjoy the sunset as you overlook the lake and then retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Masai Mara
Arise in the early morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the lodge, met your driver guide and engage in the morning game drive to capture the wildlife when still very active. You will dive deep in the rift valley where Lake Nakuru lies, you will encounter hippos wallowing, flamingos will be painting Lake Nakuru shores with pink, you will see buffaloes, antelopes, you will be with a ranger guide who will be answering all your queries about wildlife in the park. You will later exit Lake Nakuru and head to Masai Mara which is about 4hours drive from Lake Nakuru. You will have lunch en-route, connect to Masai Mara, arriving will be in the evening and then connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3&4: Exploring Masai Mara
On this 3rd and 4th day of 5 days Kenya exclusive trip, you will spend them exploring the beauty of Masai Mara. You will have your bucket list of Africa’s big 5 ticked and the ugly 5 as well. If you visit Masai Mara in dry season that is June to September, you will engage in wildebeest migration which attracts savanna carnivores which are lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. You will visit Mara River where wildebeests cross from Serengeti national park of Tanzania. You will spot birds, antelopes, and visit different kopjes among others. This trip is exclusively for jungle lovers.
Day 5: Check out and departure
On the last leg of your trip, you will enjoy a lazy breakfast, check out of the lodge and head back to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi, visit some craft shops to get a souvenir back home. You will later be transferred to the Airport for the flight back home or to other destinations.
