Buhoma lodge is one of the midrange lodges in Buhoma gorilla sector in the Northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The hotel is in the heart of amazing habituated gorilla families for example Mubare gorilla family, Habiyanja gorilla family, Rushegura gorilla family. Katwe gorilla family and Muyambi gorilla family. The first gorilla family to be habituated was Mubare gorilla family in 1992, Habiyanja was habituated in 1997 and it was habituated just 5 years after habituating Mubare gorilla family. Buhoma has greatly contributed to the park activities right from gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park in Buhoma gorilla sector, cultural tours in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, accommodation in Buhoma gorilla sector, birding in Buhoma gorilla sector and guided nature walks in Buhoma gorilla sector.

You can also get to Buhoma by Air. You will board either Aerolink or Bar Aviation to Kihihi which is about 2hours and you are in the park.
