Tour Overview
3 days Tarangire national park and Mto WA Mbu cultural tour is a short Tanzania safari that will expose you to Tanzania wildlife highlights and cultural tour. The trip will expose you to a number of wildlife for example elephants, leopards, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elands, long-necked gerenuk, impalas, birds, baobab tress and amazing sceneries. You will engage in the village of Mto WA Mbu where over 120 tribes of people are in the same area and they have a lot to take you through.
Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tarangire via Mto WA Mbu
On the first leg of your tour, our driver guide will pick you from the agreed pick up point whether hotel or at your home. The guide will greet you, take you through the itinerary and then set off to Tarangire via Mto WA Mbu a place where over 120 people live in harmony. You will engage in different cultural engagements for example taste on local food, engage in cultural dances, visit craft shops, and later on exit and head to Tarangire national park. Upon arrival in the park, you will connect to your lodge, check in and if time allows you can engage in the evening game drives.
Day 2: Full Day Tarangire Wildlife Experience
This is your long awaited day where you will spend the whole day in the wilderness experiencing the beauty of Tarangire national park. You will arise in the morning, grab a scrumptious breakfast, get your lunch, and meet your driver guide and the ranger guide and proceed to the park where you will have the mighty encounter of the elephant herds, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, wildebeests among other wildlife. Expect to visit the lifeline of the park and that is River Tarangire where most of the wildlife gathers especially in the afternoon when they come for water. You will visit different kopjes, enjoy sunset pictures and at the dusk you will head back to the lodge, for dinner under the stars and have a peaceful night.
Day 3: Check out and Departure
On the last leg of your trip, you will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide, do simple game drives as you exit the park and if you are lucky you will spot some wildlife species that you might have missed the previous day. You will have a hot lunch in Arusha and then be dropped at the agreed point marking the end of your Tarangire wildlife safari.
