Safari Overview
3 days Amboseli national park safari, is one of Kenya’s short wildlife adventure and this itinerary is mostly for people who have short time in Kenya but want to indulge in the wilderness. Amboseli national park can be visited all year around, additionally you can combine Amboseli national park with other destinations like Masai Mara national reserve to make your stay longer in Kenya. The park prides in having stunning view of Mountain Kilimanjaro. While on this safari, expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, Dik-Dik, hyrax, kudus, porcupines, cheetahs, hyenas, bird species with a recorded number to be over 600 bird species. This trip can also be combined with gorilla trekking experience in Uganda by visiting Bwindi impenetrable national park or Mgahinga national park.
Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
On the first leg of the 3 days Amboseli national park safari, you will be picked from the hotel or at the Airport by your driver guide. He will transfer you to the park, connect to your lodge, check in, have lunch, relax and in the evening go for evening game drive till late in the evening. Enjoy a clear back drop of Mount Kilimanjaro which gives the best background for the photographs. On the game drive, you will encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, kobs, to mention but a few. At the dusk, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
On the second day of the 3 days Amboseli national park safari, wake up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee, meet your driver guide and head to the park. You will go early to catch early risers for example buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, elands, hyenas, among others. You will capture every moment in the wilderness, then return to the lodge for a scrumptious lunch. After lunch, hit the road for yet an evening game drive. You will spot more wildlife, visit different kopjes and animal viewpoints, birds for example hornbills, jacana, spur fowls, lapwings, herons, egrets and then retie to your lodge at the dusk.
Day 3: Check out and Departure
Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide and go for a game drive. You will spot different wildlife, amazing sceneries and birds species as you exit the park back to Nairobi.
