Safari Overview
3 days Katavi national park safari is a short wildlife safari that will expose you to one of the hidden gems that Tanzania prides in. Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Katavi National Park
On the first leg of your 3 days Katavi national park safari, our company representative will pick you from the hotel and transfer you to Arusha or Dar-es-Salaam for a domestic flight to Ikuu Airstrip inside the park. You will be picked by the driver guide who will transfer you to the lodge. You will check in, enjoy a hot lunch, relax and in the evening do an evening game drive. Expect to spot some wildlife for example buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and amazing sceneries. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Katavi National Park Excursion
Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, get your lunchbox, meet your driver guide and transfer to the park to catch early risers. Your guide will take you to animal viewpoints for example along Katuma River where there is high concentration of buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, elands, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, rare sable, roan antelopes, hippopotami, crocodiles, among others. Enjoy a picnic lunch at animal viewpoints near water sources, proceed with the game drives. Returning to the lodge will be in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Check out and Departure
On this last day of your 3 days Katavi national park safari, you will wake up on a lazy breakfast, take a walk around the lodge and check out. Your driver guide will transfer you to Ikuu airstrip to fly back to Dar-es-Salaam. This will mark the end of your 3 days Katavi national park safari.
