10 days Uganda Gorillas Masai Mara and Serengeti wildebeest migration is an amazing tour that is crafted for 3 East African countries which are the major tour destinations in East Arica. In the period of 10 days, you will visit Uganda a home of mountain gorillas and expect to visit Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, on the same trip expect to visit Masai Mara national reserve in Kenya a place flooded with wildlife and amazing sceneries, you will spot wildebeest migrate, you will cross to Tanzania’s Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro crater which is also known as the Garden of Eden, it is always surrounded with animals with spectacular view. In these 10 days Uganda gorillas Masai Mara and Serengeti wildebeest migration you will encounter Africa’s big 5animals and endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment. You will first fly to Uganda, head to Kenya and end with Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and transfer to Bwindi
Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you from Entebbe international Airport, he will brief you about the trip then transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park which is located in the southwestern Uganda. You will drive for about 9 hours with stopovers at Kayabwe for Equator experience and lunch en-route in Mbarara. You will enjoy the countryside drives where you will get immersed into the beauty of Uganda’s green hills, human settlement and amazing sceneries. You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening hours, connect to your lodge, check in, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
You will arise in the early morning, grab a cup of coffee, get your lunchbox and meet your driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarter to receive a briefing about Uganda gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. You will be allocated gorilla family to track, you will be assigned a knowledgeable ranger who will be answering all your questions and thereafter, head out to the jungle to encounter gorillas in thick forests. As you trek gorillas, the forests have a lot to offer for example birds, tree species and other wildlife for example forest hogs. After you encounter the gorillas, you will have an engagement with the gorillas for 1hour and this time, you will be learning about the behaviors of mountain gorillas in Bwindi forest national park, you will be taking pictures and videos and after that, you will return to the park headquarters to receive a gorilla trekking certificate and this is where your driver guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to the lodge to freshen up. You will visit Batwa community to have an experience of the ancient life, they have a fertile story to share with you, they will sing for you, dance for you, thereafter you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe and fly to Kenya
On the 3rd day, you will unfold your day with a mouthwatering breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide and transfer to Entebbe. Lunch will be in Mbarara, proceed to Entebbe to catch a flight to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the night, have an overnight in Nairobi, have dinner and relax.
Day 4: Pick up and transfer to Masai Mara
Arise in the morning on a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you to Masai Mara Kenya’s iconic tourist destination and most visited national park. You will be welcomed by the great view of the East African rift valley as you enter the park. You will dive into the beauty of Mara land, connect to your lodge, check in, have a hot lunch, take a nap and in the evening head out to the park to meet some animals, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day Masai Mara exploration
This is another fun day for you, where you will head out to the jungle after a scrumptious breakfast, you will go with a packed lunch since the whole day will be spent in the wilderness. You will be welcomed by herds of buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, kobs, elands, wildebeests, you will have a picnic lunch then proceed with the evening game drive. At the dusk, you will be winding up with your game drive, head to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 6: Fly to Serengeti national park
Arise in the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet your driver who will transfer you to the Airport to catch a flight to Kilimanjaro international Airport in Tanzania to meet your driver who will welcome you to Tanzania and he will take you through the jungles of Tanzania. After a scrumptious lunch, hit the road to Serengeti national park. You will arrive in the evening hours, check in the lodge, relax and have and overnight stay.
Day 7: Full day Serengeti national park exploration
Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide driver and head out to the jungle to explore the beauty of Serengeti national park. Serengeti is a local term meaning endless plains. The park is a home to a variety of animals and they are decorated in the beautiful Serengeti plains. You will spot lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants and rhinos, these re the Africa’s big 5. Expect to encounter other animals for example cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests and if you visit in dry season in the months of June to September where you will see wildebeests migrate from Tanzania to Masai Mara looking for green pastures. Wildebeest migration is the largest wildlife movement in the world where millions of wildebeests escorted by zebras and gazelles move in large numbers in search for green pastures. You will enjoy a picnic lunch proceed with game drives, visit different kopjes and scenic viewpoints. You will return to the lodge in the late evening with a lot of fascinating memories. Have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Check out and transfer to Ngorongoro crater area
On this day, you will wake up in the morning, have a breakfast, check out, meet your driver guide and transfer to Ngorongoro crater area. This is also known as the Garden of Eden. You will have an en-route to Olduvai Gorge this is the archeological site where the skull of the first man was found, you will have lunch then proceed to the park, arrive in the evening, connect to your lodge, check in, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Full day Ngorongoro crater exploration
Another day for you to experience the beauty of Ngorongoro crater area is here. You will arise in the morning, grab a scrumptious breakfast, and meet your driver guide and a ranger then head to the jungle to have an encounter with the endless beauty of Ngorongoro crater. You will be blown away by the beautiful scenery of the crater, animals will be scattered all over the area. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, do an evening age drive and thereafter retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Check out and departure
