5 Days Murchison falls national park combined with Queen Elizabeth national park is an amazing experience which will expose you to these two national parks. Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
On this first day, our driver guide will pick you from the agreed pick up point, greet you, take you through the itinerary and then embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park with an en-route to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will spend about 2hours tracking rhinos, learning different behaviors that you knew not about the rhinos, you will also have lunch and embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park, arriving in the evening, connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise to the Bottom of the falls
Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide, and head to the park headquarters where you will register, get a ranger guide and proceed to the jungle. You will be welcomed by herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and by now you will have completed Africa’s Big 5 animals. Other wildlife to encounter are; kobs, birds and baboons, many more other wildlife and thereafter, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, you will have lunch and then in the evening you will engage in the evening boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. You will cruise through the schools of hippos, elephants and buffaloes will be swimming, you will later visit top of the falls to have a clear view of the waterfalls. You will later retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is another day for traveling where you will wake up on a sumptuous breakfast, check out of the lodge and bid a farewell to Murchison falls national park and head to Queen Elizabeth national park via Fort-Portal Kasese. You will drive for about 7hours, with an en-route for lunch in Hoima and proceed to the Queen Elizabeth driving through rolling rangelands of western Uganda. You will connect to your lodge, check in, and have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise on Kazinga Channel
Another day of adventure is here, where you will unfold your day with a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide, meet your driver guide ad transfer to the park headquarter, where you will register and get a ranger guide and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are still very active. You will enjoy a game drive in Kasenyi also known as the mating ground, there is where most grazers are found and also big cats always hunt from here. Expect to spot lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, bushbucks, and many others. You will return to the lode in the midmorning, relax, have lunch and in the afternoon, you will go for an evening boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will enjoy the expanse of amazing sight of endless Kazinga channel where buffaloes, elephants and hippos share the same pool. You will enjoy sunset pictures, videos, birds will be singing for you. You will later head to Kikorongo for Equator experience, you will retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Check out and departure
On the last leg of your trip, you will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide and be transferred back to Kampala and this will mark the end of your 5 days trip. However, you can combine this trip with Uganda gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi impenetrable national park or combine it with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park.
