Safari Overview
6 days Tanzania northern circuit wildlife safari is a unique wildlife safari that will expose you to northern Tanzania which is the most visited wildlife tracks in Tanzania. You will visit Arusha national park which is a home to Mount Meru and abundant wildlife, expect to visit Tarangire national park a place with high concentration of elephants, baobab trees, you will also visit Lake Manyara national park a park famous for hosting tree climbing lions like those in Queen Elizabeth national park in Uganda, Mto WA Mbu village, Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro conservation area. In the northern Tanzania there lies two natural wonders of Africa’s seven natural wonders and these are; the largest caldera which forms Ngorongoro and the endless plains that make Serengeti national park. This safari will expose you the cultural encounters in the Mto WA Mbu.
Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Arusha National Park
On the first leg of your trip, your professional driver guide will be waiting to receive you at the Airport, he will take you through your itinerary and then hit the road to Arusha national park, you will drive along the shores of Lake Momella and Ngurduto crater which is a permanent home for buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, giraffes among other animals. You will proceed to the booked lodge in the park to check in, have lunch and then engage in the evening game drive where you will continue to spot different wildlife species, best sceneries and you will be learning about different wildlife behaviors. Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide and engage in the morning game drive as you exit Arusha national park to Tarangire national park. Expect to encounter animals like elephants, giraffes, leopards, antelopes, scenic view of Mount Meru, you will have an en-route lunch and then connect to Tarangire national park where by you will connect to the booked lodge for accommodation and if time allows, you will engage in the evening game drives in Tarangire national park.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via Mto WA Mbu
Wake up on a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Serengeti national park via Mto WA Mbu for a cultural engagement. You will visit this village which is a home to over 120 tribes living happily together. You will take a round trip for about 2hours, visit different cultural sites, engage in their ancient activities, taste on their meals and thereafter hit the road again to Serengeti national park where you will arrive in the evening, do a game drive and then connect to your lodge at dusk for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Arise in the early morning, grab a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and immerse yourself in the wilderness of Serengeti to Seronera area where high wildlife concentration prevails. You will spot Africa’s big animals which are elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and rhinoceroses. You will see other species as well, enjoy the sunrise as it pours over the running plains, you will later exit Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro conservation crater. Lunch will be a picnic one, connect to Ngorongoro in the evening for a game drive around the crater rim, you will spot some wildlife and then proceed to the booked lodge, check in, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Game Drive and Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
You will have an early breakfast, grab your lunchbox, meet your driver guide and head to the crater base where most of the animals dwell. You will have an encounter of Africa’s big 5 animals just in one day and other dwellers for example hyenas, zebras, wildebeests among others and this will confirm to you why the crater is known as the Garden of Eden. Head Lake Manyara national park, connect to the booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Game Drive and Back to Arusha
You will wake up on s delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to the bush to have an experience of the wilderness. The park is so amazing where giraffes in dark coloration will appear black towers in the wilderness, not forgetting that this is a home of tree climbing lions and other species like buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, birds among others. You will enjoy a scrumptious lunch and thereafter exit the park and head back to Arusha airport for your next destination.
