Safari Overview
3 days Lake Manyara national park safari is a Tanzanian wildlife safari that will expose you to this amazing national park. Lake Manyara national park was established as a national park in 1960 and it is famous for hosting tree climbing lions like those in Queen Elizabeth national park in Uganda. The park is a home a number of wildlife and among them are; elephants, tree climbing lions, leopards, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, impalas, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, hippos, birds such as hornbills, flamingos, pelicans, herons, hawk eagles, vultures among others.
Day by Day Program
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
On this day of the safari, our company representative will pick you from the hotel or at airport, he will brief you about the safari and then hit the road to the park. You will be welcomed by the scenic view of Lake Manyara, the wildlife and the Great Rift Valley, you will connect to your lodge where you will check in, make a lunch order, refresh and in the evening you may engage in the evening game drive or relax at the lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Lake Manyara Excursion
On this day, you will wake up on a scrumptious breakfast, get your lunch packed, meet your guide and head to the park headquarters where you will register, get a ranger guide and head to the wilderness. You will enjoy the sun raise as it pours on the savanna plains on Manyara and most park dwellers will be awake and ready to welcome you. You will see tree climbing lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, and birds will be chirping in the tree branches among other. You will have a picnic lunch overlooking the lake and you will be in position to see most of the animals as they will be fringing around the water source. You will spend the whole day in the wilderness and then retire to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure
You will wake up early in the morning, grab your scrumptious breakfast, check out and meet your driver guide and go an en-route game drive in the park and you will have a chance to see animals that you might have missed in the previous game drive. You will exit the park and head to Arusha, have lunch and then your driver guide will either drop you at the hotel or at the Airport for your next destination.
